  3. What do I need to have before I can work for Right Direction All Trades?
    • A valid CSCS card
    • Some of our clients ask that our tradespeople have a skilled workers CSCS card, specific to their trade
    • We thoroughly vet all our candidates and we will ask you for 2 recent work references, these will need to be specific to the position that you have applied for. If you have applied for a shopfitting joinery role, we will need to speak to a reputable shopfitting company to take a reference for you
    • You will require PPE – a hard hat, safety footwear, a high visibility jacket/waistcoat, gloves and safety glasses
    • If you are a tradesperson you will need your own tools
  4. When and how often do I get paid?

    Providing your timesheet is received by our deadline, you will be paid on the Friday following the week that you have worked. We pay on a weekly basis.

  5. When does my timesheet need to be in?

    The Monday after the week you have worked, it needs to be in by 5pm. If we have not received your timesheet on Monday we will always let you know.

  7. How often will Right Direction All Trades find me work?

    We constantly have contracts for different clients throughout the UK. We get work in on an hourly basis! Providing you do a good job for us and turn up to work every day we will do our utmost best to keep you in regular work with our clients.

  8. Where do you have work available right now?

    Please check our website for details of our latest roles. We work on approximately 20-40 positions in any one day so we always have work available. We also send out regular text messages and emails when we get work in your local area. Please feel free to contact us on a regular basis to notify us of your availability – we like to talk, we’re always happy to speak to you!

  9. Do I need a CV?

    For some of the roles that we have, our clients do ask for an up to date CV so we would recommend that you produce one just in case we are asked for a copy.

  10. How do I get my Asbestos Awareness certificate?

    We have our own online training portal which enables any of our candidates to do their Asbestos Awareness training, complete an assessment online and upon successfully completing the assessment you will be issued with a UKATA Asbestos Awareness certificate which is valid for 12 months.
